Companies, organizations, or people, should be allowed to rent out the space on the penny. The person who is renting the penny for the year or however long it many are gets to choose what they put on it. It dose not have to relate to past presidents or anything to do with the government. They could put the company or organizations logo on it or there pet or favorite car.There is a lot to gain from renting the space on the penny. There would be money going back to the movement, and maybe this would lower our taxes. The penny would serve as a method of advertisement for who ever rent it. It may also give avid coin collectors something ells to collect.

good idea but not something id ever expect or government to do. i do think it may cause a little revenue but not enough to even cover the cost of making the pennies

i think this is a good idea, also this essay got my attention frist. the only thing wrong with the idea is that it might be to expensive to really do this, and the re-call the penny each year or try to change them all might be to big of a task, however if only a certain amount where changed that might work.
