Abraham Lincoln has been on the United Stated penny since 1909. If next year they were to vote on who should be the next president face on the penny or if it should stay the same I would have to vote to change the face on our penny. Though tradition has it that Abraham Lincoln is the face on out one cent coin, this following year will mark 100 years. Time for a change? I think so. Our Country has done a lot of evolving throughout that 100 year. I understand that Abraham Lincoln has done great things for our country but I believe it would be proper to show our respect to a different late president who has also done great things for the United States of America. There have been 42 United States Presidents to take office. With a quick glance at short biographies of them I believe that all of them have done a service for our country. With them initially being the leaders of the United Stated they all should receive recognition. Why not have all of them? Start with George Washington and every 1-5 years switch it to the next president in line. That way all the presidents will be shown the recognition and respect that they deserve.

I liked this essay and I like the idea of equality between who is on the penny. It would really bring out the point that our country fought for it's freedom and people have fought to be equal throughout our history.
I think this is a great idea. If it were top happen it probably wouldnt be as hyped up as the quarters but it would help to teach today's youth the presidents. i'll be damned if i can name the first five alone. The factors against it happeneing would probably be the fact that the penny might just be gotten rid of soon, and the amount of changes the u.s. mint would have to undergoe in order to print these multiple different immages. But they did it with the quarter so why not.
I like the idea. Respecting all the presidents would be a great idea. Not downing any one of them, only showing that they all have done something is a great idea. Its a wide but a bold idea and I believe many people would go for it.
This point stuck out to me because it is a valid point that every president has had an affect on the US and therefore each one should have the honor of being on a piece American currency.
it's na interesting idea and hey... it worked out for the quater. I do wish you had made it a little longer,maybe some examples of the things other presidents have doen to back up your words about them doing a service to our counrty, not saying they didn't but it would have made for a better read and maybe would have taught someone something they didn't already know
the idea is good i wouldnt disagree with the need to change the penny and give other presidents their recognition. I like how the eassy was simple but still easliy persuading
